Atmosphere at the Saucer is like any other in the Flying Saucer franchise - saucers on the walls, beer bottles lining the walls, etc. Nothing special here. Crowd is very young late at night, so try to enjoy your beers during the day or at supper. Several hundred beers to choose from but the draughts are sometimes "off" in taste. I’ve had this numerous times and complained, but they swear the tap lines are cleaned weekly. The bottled beers taste fine, so it’s not the glassware. Arkansas beers have a strong presence on tap which is good for the local spirit, but unfortunately some of the Diamand Bear beers are marginal and they do not carry a single beer from Bosco’s (whose brewpub is one block away). Staff is significantly undertrained when it comes to beer knowledge. It’s either funny or condescending when they try to describe a beer to you. They also serve you another "similar" beer if your requested beer is kicked. I ordered a Whitebread and they brought me John Courage. Hmm. Food is standard pub fare, though the cheese dip is a guaranteed source for digestive problems later (I’ve confirmed this with several locals who go there and figured this out independently of me). One of the best places in Little Rock for beer but don’t have high expectations.

I’ve visited a few times since I arrived in Little Rock. Pretty cool vibe, except it can get crowded a little later on a Friday night. This can lead to a lack of service. Otherwise the waitress are all scantily clad, attractive, and also helpful. Selection is good for Arkansas (better than my home state though...), a good wide variety as well. Food was good, I had the buffalo chicken wrap last time and enjoyed it. Pretty good prices for just about everything. Nice place overall I will visit again.

Visited here on vacation. Their selection is expansive, yet limited. They have a lot of the easy-to-get beer from around the east (which was good for me since I’m from AZ), which isn’t that exciting, but they also have some very rare finds such as La Folie. I mean, come on...it’s La Folie. Ambiance was quite nice. Dishes of beer drinkers from their club are all over the walls and ceiling. The line of tap handles and old-time bar in the river market district are quite unique and interesting. I also can’t argue with the school-girl waitresses. Service was very quick and attentive, although there were very few people in the place at the time. The selection of food is somewhat limited, but the sandwiches my family and I got were extremely good. Prices of beer were really high, but the food prices were fair. Overall, a very nice place to visit and highly recommended. I don’t think you’ll find the same selection/atmosphere/fun etc. anywhere else in Little Rock.

Decent location. Fun environment. Good beers. I was a big fan of the fact that they had 7 New Belgium beers on tap - including Lips of Faith Dunkle! They also had bottles of La Folie available. The beer coasters above the bar were a cool touch. Exactly what I’ve come to expect from Flying Saucer.

The only thing holding this place back is the lack of selection available in the state of Arkansas. Stone, Dogfish, Oskars, Brooklyn... none of the biggies are interested in coming here. The saucer has extremely knowlegable wait staff who also happen to be very attractive. They have a wall full of taps, and three cooler doors filled with good beer. They have specials that make it a value every night, especially Mondays. Lots of fun specials throughout the week, like Wednesdays you get to keep the glass etc. Great beer place.

Nice beer oasis in the Arkansas desert. Good sized place with an open seating area and tall ceilings. They have BLVD’s Smokestack brews in bottles. When busy this place is too loud and smoky.

Great selection of beer for the area. Went in on the middle of the day on Saturday. Not very crowed, large bar and space in general. DId not try the food. Good service. I had a New Belgium Grand Cru, served in proper glassware (I think they might have a deal with NB, as they have most everything including La Folie). I also had a Goose Island Honkers. Not bad price wise.

Like the other Flying Saucers I’ve been to, albeit not as large as some. Wooden tables. I’ve had good luck with service personally. Food is OK. Almost certainly the best selection in Arkansas.

Just like all the other Saucers. This one has the local beers and a lot of the macro, micro, and imports. However, they always seem to have a one-off New Belgium-this time the Le Fleur Misseur. I never see these at the Texas Saucers. Service at the bar was decent. Another good thing-no smoking inside now. This place used to almost uninhabitable for beer drinkers. Sweet.

I would have to agree with iLilKem/i below - the service was awful. It was like they were mad at us for coming in even though it was an hour and a half until closing. A server never came to us, the bartender had to as well. Maybe they were tired, but customer service is customer service. A large tap selection as well as bottles. It is all divided up by style on the menu which is nice. A lot of the best ones were in bottles which is more expensive. They had a lot of the local brewery Diamond Bear, New Belgium and other Colordao micros like Avery and Breckenridge. About three of the tap selections we asked about were out as well. Besides this, it’s a cool environment inside and out (right on President Bill Clinton Ave - I think where the other cross street besides Markham is Lewinsky :) The chips con queso was good.
