Odd place. It looks like an 80s country motel dining room. The beer is insanely cold and served in ordinary glasses. But they’d already run out of a new local beer that had yet to be listed here (or appear elsewhere). Tap focus is on fresh and local at around 5%.

I love this place! great parmas and great selection of vic craft beers. About 8 different taps and the staff are knowledgable. nice friendly atmosphere and good for either a small or big gathering.

Very straight forward but friendly place. Decent tap list and the decor is clean and serviceable.

Venue and layout is not my go (think souless inner city bar devoid of character) but there’s no doubt they are having a crack at the promotion of craft beer. 10 decent beers on tap (inc 3 Ravens Dark Smoked and Tooborac Amber). About $5 a put for the craft beers. Visit purely for the beers.

Tried the Holgate UXB Strong English Ale & Bright Winter Warmer. I should try them again, but with an expectation of a beer that needs to be warm up a little. This place serves their beer at 3 degrees,....way too cold. I expect better from an establishment representing itself as a speciality for Victorian(Aussie) microbrewers. I guess I’m ranting and they have to give the average punter to survive in this industry. Food is a bit down market unless you like a parma without some finesses but with a slab of cheese as a topping.

OK - the inside isn’t the flashest place around. But you can’t have any complaints about the beer range, and the service was really friendly. And if you’re into Parmas, you’ve come to the right place.

Good beer selection, with rotating taps changing frequently. The food is very good. This is a great place to relax and try local microbrewery beers. I have a couple of criticisms: the selection of bottled beers could be wider, and the service is not very friendly sometimes.

Across the street from where I work. Easy to get there. The food seems expensive but I didn’t try it, so I didn’t rate it. The beer selection is impressive, pages and pages of beer. They even have a small selection of ciders. Worth going for sure!

It has an ’RSL’ feel to the place, but the focus is on VIC craft beers which they do well. The service is excellent and knowledgeable in what they serve. The beers available on tap are decent, and the parma I had was pretty good. Good value overall and they show great support for the Victorian micros.
