12 taps a 100 bottles but I left feeling whelmed. The drafts are pretty weak, I was expecting some rare fresh goodness, and it was mostly lagers, 2 pales and 1 ipa on tap. The bottle list was big, but a bit out of date. Nothing particularly rare, but some solid stuff. The service was ok, nice but didn’t know a ton about beer, more surface type suggestions. They have really good pizza with toppings like kangaroo, emu and crocodile that push this above to make it worth a stop.

Nice friendly bar, staff helpful frizzy pretty good. Decent range of beers on tap and apparently have over 100 Aussie beers to choose from. Enjoyed the Vale IPA

Classic pub. Decent selection, and the patio made a great spot on which to enjoy it. Had my first ever Dogbolter dark lager there. Not my last though.

Historic pub with a great ambiance and a decent selection of craft beer. Quite famous for its pizzas and other food selection also offer great value for Sydney. Accomodations are nothing special but do the job, if you take into account the location they are quite good value.

Great selection of beers, good food, very good service, maybe a little expensive. All up a top class pub.

Busy old pub, with friendly service. Scharer’s lager was pleasant enough, while the fridge of beers offered a wide selection.

Cracking place for a pizza and choice of beers. Old Colonial in style with a veranda on both sides (it is on a corner). Loads of Aussie beers on tap, most I had never heard of. If I knew that I would be joining this site, I would have reviewed some of the beers, but I can’t really remember what I had, I just know they were good! Friendly, knowledgeable staff, it was very relaxed when I visited, which was mid-week and during the afternoon. A great place to introduce yourself to Aussie drinking and don’t forget to try a pizza.

Pretty nice place in a good location. The selection is decent with plenty of good Aussie beers. Can be a bit pricey but expected due to location. Service was good. Worth stopping in if you’re nearby.

A rather old fashioned pub with a small selection of decent beers on tap, including the unusual unfiltered and unpasteurized Scharer’s Lager. Wide but shallow range of Australian bottled beers. OK pizza.
