This is actually a Backhendl restaurant (breaded chicken) in a very nice area of Austria (close to Millstaetter See). The owner is a true beer lover and therefore offers a quite wide range of beers. They usually have a very good draft beer from the Bamberg area and a good selection of UK bottled beers. Food is outstanding.

Located away from the mainroad, in the hills/mountains, a beautiful typical Austrian restaurant with a very good beercard. This place is a must go when you are in the neighboorhood. The entrance is typical Austrian, the interrior is cosy and sitting outside is wonderfull. The beer card/menu is outstanding, not a beerbar with such a card/menu in the neighboordhood of a 100 km. The man behind this restaurant is a Beer and Wine Sommelier and knows what he is talking about. Very friendly and good service. The owner showed me his fridges with a partly and nicely private selection (Zwanze...) Kept talking with him for a while about all kinds of beer related themes. The beer menu on the internet showes a card with different kind of beer styles (Trappist, Fruit beers, Lager, Pils, Bock, Barley Wine, Stout, Porter, IPA, etc.) They have a fine menu card and their food is very well. I was able to get my hands on some nice IPA’s and Impy’s, he sold them for me to take them home. The owner is the importer of different Durham beers from the Durham brewery. Not all beers on their internet card are available, due to some being sold out, but than they have some other beers. Wonderfully located, nice food, good beercard and really friendly staff with an awesome owner. A must visit!
