Poor beer if you are used to franconian standards. Convenient if you are following the " Brauereiweg". A bit run down place.

Depressing atmosphere, from the drab, low-light interior which resembles a sauna, to the surly and mute waitress to the equally quiet and sullen few customers inside. Only the Vollbier on tap and it was godawful. I drank about 3 ounces and split. Had the same feeling you get in a funeral home, like everyone’s being too quiet on purpose, and you’re reminded that your life is slipping away and all you want to do is leave.

Wasn’t nuts about the buttery beer. The building is kind of ugly. Nothing wrong with the service but this place was kind of non-scintillating.

Another nice bike ride from Bamberg. Farmy atmosphere. Small biergarden and a ho-hum interior. A large group of bikers (motorcycle bikers) was there when we were. They have one beer and it’s not great.

Nasty, dim "modern" Gasthof in the 70’s style: concrete and dark wood in a long "hall", that looks like a restaurant in a "Kulturpalast" in the former GDR. One quite unattractive house-beer is served. A visit there is not really necessary.......
