Always stop here when in Brussels. Sometimes difficult to get a seat but once you do it is difficult to leave. Great selection at reasonable prices. Always seem to have a De la Senne on draught too. Food is pretty damn good too. Not so much fun sitting downstairs, but still nice. They always seem to be recommending St Bernadus Wit to people. The bar across the manneken Pis may be touristy, but it’s a comfortable corner bar where stepping in for a beer feels like the most natural thing to do in the world. The heavily decorated themed interior is certainly worth a look too. When we were there, the taps were all dry, relatively hoppy Belgian blondes, exactly my type of ales and I went straight for that. The bottle selection is good for the location, but not especially spectacular for a Belgian café on Ratebeer. Its location kinda makes it a must-stop if you’re in Brussels and not too rushed, unless you’ve been here a few times before.

Very nice place near Manneken Pis. Beer selection is not extraordinary, but you can find good beers anyway, nothing "exotic" though... Pleasant waiters, funny decoration... In my opinion, this is NOT a beer bar. This is merely a tourist trap. The place is very nice, clean etc ... but there is no quality of service whatsoever. The beer menu is not so rich... almost every bar in Brussels can offer the same. I may be a bit hard on them, but i was very disapointed when i went there . |
