| Bart (23), Brussels, Belgium | | January 22, 2008 Rather standard selection of macro’s, some few special ones. Hoped for more. | | Jerre (50), Waregem, Belgium | | December 26, 2007 We where here @ 15.12.’07.
Good choice, some beers you’l never find by others beerstores.
But not so good as Willems. | | sayravai (93), Helsinki, Finland | | December 22, 2007 A warehouse filled with most of the essential beers you’ll find in Belgium. No real rarities, though - and don’t bother without a car. Don’t get me wrong, as it really has a good selection... it just doesn’t amaze you, after you’ve been to Dranken Geers and Hopduvel. | | Ungstrup (245), Frederiksberg, Denmark | | December 18, 2007 Nice warehouse, though seemingly a bit dirty and dimly lid - but the beer selection is huge. I even found enough untried beer to fill up my suitcase for the flight home to Denmark - I think I picked up around 10 untried beers, and I didn’t have time to search the whole selection, since I was in a hurry to go to the Kerstbier festival. The check out of the beers is quite slow, since codes has to be typed for each beer and the employee doesn’t know all the codes. If I come back to Essen I’ll stop by again. | | SHIG (81), Aviano, Italy | | December 19, 2006 [ Updated December 21, 2006 ] I think this was one of the best season beer selections I have ever seen. They carried tons of Christmas beers, including St. Bernardus Christmas. They had a vast selection of regular Belgium labels along with quite a few lambics. The only problem I noticed was that they had to type in codes for each beer you purchased; this took about 15 min since I had two assorted racks and about 10 75cl bottles. | | jbrus (110), Delft, Netherlands | | August 30, 2005 Unlike Bierkoning I found they assortment pretty standard. Lots of InBev, Maes, Riva, all Trappists except Westvleteren and a few Flemish micros. Not much Wallonian micros. They did have quite some gueze (Lindemans, Troch, Cantillon, St. Louis, Belle-Vue, Girardin). | | bierkoning (173), La Tropica, Netherlands | | March 22, 2005 Good and varied assortment. Cantillon and other lambic beers available. Strong in seasonal beers and the smaller Flemish breweries. Very cheap compared to Dutch prices. Will definitely return. |
