3 reviews for Moonraker’s Pub
| tiggmtl (117), Vancouver, British Columbia | | May 31, 2008 Kind of a sports bar meets bingo hall atmosphere and definitely an older clientele (what’s up with raffles for supermarket meat in this province?). Pictures in the bathroom reminded me of working in a gas station so long ago... Service was friendly and fairly attentive but this place is busy (even on a Sunday afternoon it seems). Decent selection of BC micros and they also bring in some special beers from out of province which is what occasioned my trip out to New West. Food was standard greasy North American pub fare. If it weren’t for the specials I’m not sure I’d go out of my way although it was in no way unpleasant... | | Hooker (16), New Westminster, British Columbia | | July 31, 2006 The atmosphere is a little dark with an older clientel base. Always seem to get excellent service. And seeing as how the group that I go with we always have a good selection of micros available. Very good food. | | Crit (117), New Westminster, British Columbia | | July 23, 2006 [ Updated September 14, 2008 ] All the usual macros, Guinness, Kilkenny, Stella. Always at least 5 or 6 micros on tap.
At the moment, Phillips IPA, Race Rocks Amber,Russell Cream, Howe Sound Bitter,St Ambroise Oatmeal Stout and Paddywhack in bottles.
Food is considerably better than most pubs, especially the pizza
Always full 20 oz pints |
