5 reviews for Christie’s Carriage House Pub
| presario (105), Calgary, Alberta | | September 10, 2007 Big tap list but I have add all but one, and now all of them. Very busy early Saturday evening. Had the fish and chips since the second piece was $3 rather than the $8 at Swans. | | Oakes (421), gone rambling, Vietnam | | September 16, 2006 Typical faux-English pub with all the wrong decor, atmosphere and cuisine. Not the place to relax and enjoy your beer at all. But they have a lot of beers on tap, maybe the biggest draught list in BC. Phillips IPA is a standard here. The best in Victoria, but playing the "everything to everybody neighbourhood pub" game rather than the beer bar game. | | CapFlu (179), Victoria, British Columbia | | August 10, 2006 Dropped in on August 10th, 2006, for lunch. Enjoyed a reasonably priced ($8.95) soup & sandwich deal of a Mexican Tomato with Beef soup and a baguette with ham and cheese. The tap line-up is impressive - I counted 38 taps though I know two were dry and needed a new keg to be tapped. The Gulf Islands Whale Tail Pale Ale was a very enjoyable and powerful APA. Great place... I look forward to returning. | | Crit (117), New Westminster, British Columbia | | April 30, 2006 [ Updated September 14, 2008 ] Great building, wonderful food. A nice selection of beers, service slightly above average. | | harpus (40), birmingham, Alabama | | February 13, 2006 I like the building, it creates a great relaxed feel. Good selection of beers, look forword to going back soon. |
