It’s a great produce and organic grocery store with decent prices for what they carry. As was said before, their beer selection is better than the average with several hard to find beers included. One nice feature of buying beer here is that buying a single is the same as 1/6 of their six pack price. I’d say Ledger’s and Monument have much wider selections. However, this place has odd items, and often before others. Today I got Cochonnette. Besides being the best place in the East Bay to buy produce (other than a farmer’s market,) Berkeley Bowl also has one of the better beer selections. The beer isle is small, but somehow they pack a lot in there. Well worth a look if you’re in the area. |
