Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for a World Cup game. Pretty busy, but tables were available. They had fish beers on tap, all available as 4 oz tasters for $2 up to 64 oz growler fills. Standard bar food menu, decent enough. Brewing equipment in plain view right behind the bar. Service a bit spotty, you kind of need to pester to get waited on. Beers were all decent. Nothing going to bring the house down, but solid without obvious defects.

Stopped here when visiting Big Basin Redwoods State Park. Quaint saloon-style place. Food is good as far as what you can expect from pub food. I liked their amber. The triple that is created using Trappist yeast and American hops wasn’t as interesting as I hoped. But it was served a bit too cold and after it warmed up a bit it became better.

This place takes a while to get to. From the peninsula you have to drive way out of the way when heading towards Santa Cruz. I didn’t mind though since the windy roads through the woods were a nice change of scenery from the crowded freeways. Just be careful of bicyclists and residents. The little town of Boulder Creek is very quaint.

We sat at the bar and had lunch. The bartender was really nice but he was also the only one working the bar area so he was also waiting on the bar tables. The food was pretty good. The beers were not, although I guess they weren’t bad. They "only" have about six house taps going, most of which are standard styles but they do mix some interesting things in there. I had a gose in the flight and there are barrels scattered around with various sours and saisons in them.

Can’t say I’d come back for the beer but this area wouldn’t be a bad place to spend a day, and of course if that happens I’ll have to check out what new beers are on.

Nice small town feel to this place. We were driving to Santa Cruz and dropped in for a tasting. Great prices on pints, not on tasters! But alas, we couldn’t do pints. They had about 8 beers on tap. A couple were very nice, 1 or 2 not so memorable. The people were friendly. Would like to drink off an evening in here.

I Haven’t been here in a while but the last time I was here the food was good and the beer was very good. Great place to stop after spending time in the mountains.

Staying in Campbell CA on business and decided to drive to have dinner. The best thing I can say about this brewpub is the drive. Only had 4 beers on tap and none stood out. Food was generous portions and decent. Would not make the drive again just to go there. Local hang out, so you feel like an outsider and are treated as such. Too bad. I think there is a lot of potential after chatting with the brewer.
