(800)331-3005 -Moslems go to Mecca. Beer Geeks go to Hi Time. -The funny part is, this is far more of a wine store than a beer store. Beer is definitely 2nd banana here. Their advertising circular that they mail out has 30+ pages of wine information, maybe half a page on beers. They have had wine tastings for years. They’ve just started having a monthly beer tasting. -Hi Time is located in a very non-descript building on an obscure side street. You would never simply drive by it and discover it. Large walk-in fridge, beer-friendly lighting. They have every beer available in SoCal. Rochefort 10 & Westvleteren 12 have both been available at Hi Time.

Tough to get to this place, arrive rush hour as the Newport area is a madhouse! Huge wine and beer warehouse stocked to the gills with goodies. The beer section is separate to the left, with a huge walk-in cooler. This place is busting with great beer from Cali, US crafts, and international. Picked up bottles of Radar, Moylan’s Hopsickle, Brewdog Paradox, & Avery Ale to the Chief. Very friendly and beer-smart staff were helpful and attentive. A virtual beer mecca that rivals Holiday Wine for the best selection I’ve seen in SoCal!

Always A pleasure going here. Usually a nice selection, I always find something I can’t find anywhere else. Picked up the Signature Ale (Lost Abbey collaboration) and several others. Most everything is kept in cold box with some sale items on display in the warm area. Knowledgable staff, always willing to help out. One of my fav’s whem I get out to O.C.

Ordered some very good bottles from here - including AleSmith, Stone and Victory. Arrived on time and in good shape. Kudos.

Decent selection. I picked up a few HotD Dawgie Claws. It’s definitely a wine store that carries beer though, not the other way around. Everyone was nice and helpful. Worth a stop if you’re in the area.

A stop on my way during a great week of beer. Went on a Monday afternoon after a few beers at Hollingshead. While a decent selection I was not blown away. For not being a So Cal guy, I know what id available around here , and the only thing that I hadn’t seen anywhere else (in so cal) was a fantome hiver. I know the main beer guy wasn’t there (brought the second in command? beer guy a ten-fidy as a gift). Was treated nicely by a good staff. Nice place worth checking out.

Mail order a while back. If beers are out of stock, this place will not tell you and will just reduce your order. When these 3 beers were the core of your order and everything else was filler, and you get a package of filler without the good stuff for $80 without being contacted, and without being able to contact them back, it is unbelievably lame. BE CAREFUL ORDERING FROM HERE.

EXCELLENT PLACE! Here you can get all of your Socal Brews, plus a nice collection of Belgians. Lots of Port, Alesmith, Allagash, Stone and whatnot - including some hard to find Mammoth Brews. The service is excellent - and you can even drink a beer at their wine bar before you head out.

This place has everything from great beer to cigars, chocolate, wine, champagne, gifts, glasses, stemware and much more. It is not located in a place that you will not just stumble by. Make sure you have the correct address before you venture-out and find it. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. i have gone to this location for over eight years and they are fantastic to work with.

Coming from NorCal, I couldn’t believe what this wine store had to offer. I spent well over $100 and could have tripled that, if I wasn’t going to the Cuvee De Tomme release tomorrow! Had great hard to find beers and a knowledgable staff.
