| ABUSEDGOAT (57), California | | May 12, 2006 Typical brewpub atmosphere with one minor advantage. While I sat there I was able to play Texas Hold ’Em for free on the TV screen. After going through their lineup it was kinda fun to go all with garbage. Anyway, it’s like most brewpubs. I didn’t have any food. Bartenders were great, but said I was like the 3rd person to ever ask a technical beer question. I wanted to know how many IBUs were in the IPA, but he didn’t know. Beer selection is typical US micro but dominated by the blander styles. Also a few other taps there, but nothing really remarkable. Whatever, worth the stop if you’re in town and bored. | | fordest (62), Santee/San Diego, California | | May 3, 2006 Stopped by on the way home from Coahella. Nice little place. New people behind the counter made ordering really difficult. House beers are pretty good, decent stuff on guest, about 5. Excellent Pizza, huge salads, Potato skins... OK. Definitly worth a stop if you are out in the desert and thirsty. |
