great place, good food, good beer, but a lil disappointed by the number of brews available. a lil crowded at times, but has a nice patio area. a fun marin hangout for sure, don’t mniss it if you are in the area.

Nice place but very busy while on the RBSG Bus Tour. Wide variety of taps and bottles. I did not try the food.

I was a bit wasted to fully enjoy my stay here, but what I did glimpse between blurs was quite nice. Big place, it seemed, with indoor and outside seating. Long bar which seemed to have some nice stuff on tap and bottles, but I just sipped others. In any event, want to come back for some reason and experience more.

Brewpub is located in a mall type area in Larkspur, relatively easy to find. Atmosphere is typical brewpub, service was pretty good. Had some garlic fries, which were far too saturated in garlic for my tastes. Tap selection was pretty lame, a few things I’d had before and some wheat type beers I had no interest in. Was extremely disappointed at the lack of White Knuckle in either tap or bottle form. Had a pint of Point Reyes Porter and it was tasty enough and at 4 bucks not too spendy. All in all, the place was okay I guess, nothing really to write home about.

A pretty cool place with a nice local feel, and you have to walk past the open brewing equipment and stacks of bottle cases to get in. Not a huge selection, but had a few tap only beers including a great cask IPA and unfiltered pale ale, and White Knuckle fresh on tap is something to behold. The bartender was warm and welcoming, though the bar was already packed around noon on a thursday. Tons of memorabilia decorated the walls, including more steins than you can shake a stick at. I would stop on again just to get White Knuckle at the source for cheaper than bottled at the store, but hey, thats just me.

This place is always busy, even Saturday afternoon, the first dry Saturday in weeks!! Kitchen is quick with food. 10 of their own brews are on tap and fair amount of bottles to go. Waitress for pretty awesome considering she seemed to be the only waitress, including the patio area. A little strange, but they put the onions, lettuce and tomato under the burger, not in it. Burger was wonderfully rare and juicy, like I like them. Bacon was crisp.

Arne makes some of the best beers in the Bay Area, but he is too often over shadowed by Russian River. He has won tons of awards at both the GABF and the World Beer Cup. The pub is definitely fun. There are a couple dart boards in the back, decent pub food, good patio for those sunny days.

Stopped by here last night (Friday) after work, since it wasn’t but 5-7 minutes off of I-580 in a little plaza. It seems that they do pretty good business on the weekends, as there was no room at the bar. However, opposite the bar they have some barstools and a counter as long as the bar for poor souls like myself that can’t fit. I had the cask IPA ($5 a pint, I think the others were $4), which was alright. I think they had one other beer that they don’t bottle on tap (Tiburon Blonde), which was disappointingI was hoping for something fancy. I did want to try their Star Brew, but had to drive and didn’t want to be too stupid. Back to beers on tapthey had 7. I didn’t have to wait long to get my beer, and the staff (the three I encountered) were friendly. They have a few TV’s, a buttload of Marin Brewing apparel hanging up, and what looked to me like an open kitchen. Food smelled good, but I opted for Wendy’s later on. I’ll gladly come back, hopefully on a less busy day and do some BSing with the bar staff.

Very nice place. A little pricey. Beautiful scenic location. Not much as much on tap that I would have like to see. Borderline retarded waitstaff, friendly, but stupid as all get out. Worth the stop but there is so much else out there that if you are stretched for time or on a budget I would suggest many other places on the 101.
