| Charlzm (32), Los Angeles, California | | November 13, 2007 [ Updated November 17, 2007 ] Nice place in the Chili’s/Applebee’s/Elephant Bar vein. Lots of wood and brass and TVs that feature the inevitable sports. Staff is mostly young and good looking with great attitudes, though they don’t know much about beer. They do have beer-themed foods and desserts and they had eight of their brews on tap: six regulars and two rotating/seasonal. If their beer were just better... | | marcus (60), Sacramento, California | | July 17, 2007 This place is actually more of a restaurant than a brewpub. There are 8 proprietary (average to below average quality) beers on tap, and a decent selection of liquor at the full bar. There are enough booths, tables and counters to accommodate at least a hundred customers. The burger and onion rings were quite good, and there is an extensive beer-oriented menu. As a bonus, they have pool tables and a clean bathroom. | tallpaullbc (3), does not count - explanation | | August 11, 2005 They have 5 home brews at Rock Bottom. Join the RockBottom Card club, and get 20 percent more beer with each order (22oz glass) and receive perks for drinking more beer (They’re trying to make alkies out of us all). It’s a great after work hangout! | PuckLSHS (9), does not count - explanation | | March 30, 2005 Rock Bottom is pretty standard across the board with service, food and beer. Their Hef is good and their seasonal’s sometimes hit the spot. They are a chain restaurant, so don’t expect much. |
