Been frequenting Pure Luck since itís existence. Occasionally have seasonals available. On several of my many visits, just to name a few, have had Ommegang Rouge, Telegraph one-offs, many Craftsman one-offs, even several barrel aged Alesmiths. A while back I was actually able to drink myself silly with Barrel Aged Speedway at $4 a pint (although prices have increased on the rarities over the past few years). At one point they even had a small bottle selection of over priced rare finds. On one visit had a bottle of Barrel Aged Fish Tale Poseidonís Imperial Stout. On a separate visit had a bottle of Alesmith 07 Decadence several weeks before it was officially released to the LA area. Food wise everything os vegan. I highly recommend Toddís BBQ Sandwich with a side of Potato Pals (fried gnocchi). Afterwards head across the street to Scoops for some great homemade ice cream. If itís available, get the Chocolate Bacon - Great Stuff!

How have I not rated this yet? I really liked going here. The food is really good and is the first time I understood how Vegans could manage. Beers are all over the place. They mishandle IPAs sometimes, but a good selection of Craftsman, Hair of the Dog, AleSmith. Man I want to go back right now... too bad it closed in June 2011. Plans to re-open have not materialized.

In the area and looking for good beer and vegan food? This is a must stop. I wonít talk about the food, which actually I really liked. You should give it a shot if youíre in the area and want something different. I bought a five dollar generous pint of Anvil ESB and it really hit the spot. I would have ordered the Pliny, but they ran out. Itís conveniently off the 101.
