This is a wonderful neighborhood bar, especially if you love British ales. Don’t expect a great selection of American micros or Belgian ales, but you will certainly find something you like among the 18 taps (2 handpull) and about 40 bottles. If you come on a weekend night or during a special event, be prepared to fight for space. Otherwise, you can chat with the barkeep from a barstool, seek privacy in a booth, or enjoy the outdoor patio (very small). The food is quite good and relatively inexpensive - mostly British fare such as fish & chips (really good), pasties, ploughman’s lunch, etc. There is usually a sporting event on TV.
