This place at least the last few times I’ve been there, has an identity crisis both in its decor and its list. They don’t know if they are a beer bar or a wine bar. That said good list overall and killer awesome dense burgers.

I love this place. Great beer selection. Plenty of locals and great craft/imports selection. They got PBR too for you penny pinchers! I’ve heard the food is great, I haven’t tried it yet. I’ll be sure to update once I have. The artwork in this place is pretty amazing too.

Not a bad joint. Small, glass-concrete-stone architecture with good music playing. The food was decent - not as good as, say, the Linkery - but much cheaper and still good. Reasonable selection of beers, but they were out of my first two choices. All in all, worth a visit.

Very cool restaurant/ upscale taphouse with 30 or so taps of fantastic beer. Most are local product: Port Brewing, Alesmith, Lost Abbey, Craftsman, New English. The bar and the tables were run by 3 very capable young women who were busy but delivered excellent service. We tried 4 or 5 appys, and all were delicious. Top of my list for places to check out in downtown San Diego.

Pretty upscale modern place. A polished metal bar on one end with a stack of wine bottles that goes all the way to the ceiling. A pretty solid list of both taps and bottles. I had a few pints here including the new Alesmith Mikkeller Stone Tripel. Decent prices on the beers and the food is pretty solid. I had the steak tartare and a nice burger on a ciabatta bun while my wife had a cobb salad and a nice plate of crispy sweet potato fries. Wait staff are very friendly and hot as hell. They even got my wife to drink something that she didn’t hate... and that’s no mean feat. I liked this place.

OK establishment, not an amazing selection, I didn’t think, maybe it was an off day? It had a kind of trendy feel to it and the prices were fairly high, I only had a couple of beers there. Not bad, but there are definitely better joints in SD.

This place is pretty damn tight! Beerwise, about 22 taps and roughly 42 + on bottles. The bottle list is pretty standard local and belgian craftbrews, better than any non-beer place, but cannot compete with places like Hamiltons, Toronado, or Obriens. THe food, Very good i may say..very limited menu, about 10 starters with interesting things like Deviled Eggs, Steak Tartar and a few things made with Beer. Entree’s limited as well, several burgers, mussels, a stone smoked porter Beef ribs. I had the Tartar starter which was actually quite good...slightly Cooked with what seemed like lime juice and topped with some sort of chipotle sauce which made it nicely spicy. I had the Mussels for an entree because the Stone Smoked Porter Ribs were not ready yet (i went at like 3pm)..the mussells were delightful and cooked perfectly with a nice wine based sauce perfect for sopping up with bread. I didnt really like the glassware they used for the beers...the goblet for belgians with gigantic and heavy (i dont like that in a glass) but whatever. I sat at the bar, which curves around and the seating area is pretty nice. I will go back for sure!! They have happy hour for local brewed beer monday through friday 2 for 1. Service sucks and the girls that work there don’t know a damn thing about beer...but they’re still fine to look at.

Good selection of beers, waitress seemed to know many of them. Were out of a couple of my selections, but came up with good substitutes. Crowded and kind of loud. My waitress was running around covering about half the place. Lot of effort into the menu to disguise the fact that they basically sell burgers and fries at this trendy location. Reasonably priced for downtown SD.

Very cool little spot just outside of the business of the Gaslamp. Very comfortable seating arrangements and booth like seats. Sort of an urban metro feel to the place. Our waitress and staff were extremely friendly and unpretentious. Also very knowledgeable about the local Craft beers and Belgians. Great tap selection of San Diego and Craft brews. Good bottle list of Belgians. Good menu descriptions of beers for people unfamiliar with good Craft beer. Sampler tasting options also. The food looks very good also which we did not sample secondary to our dinner reservations at Monsoon for later. A great place and a must stop prior to Padres games.

Cool little establishment. Really good tap list, including speedway stout, Lost and found, Hopsickle, Maudite, and on and on. Locals are highly represented here. The food is really good. This is definitely not your typical dive bar - in fact, it’s very nice inside. Although the service is pretty good, the staff doesn’t seem to have the beer knowledge of some of San Diego’s other good beer spots. Definitely going to be a great spot. As it is now, it’s probably the best place downtown.
