Place has some potential, but with a selection that includes a Chili Beer, it doesn’t seem to be taking itself very seriously. Been there thrice, and have tried most of their selection, the San Francisco Common beer was an interesting experiment in our classic Steam beer style, made famous by Anchor Brewing. The Porter was decent, and the stout was a lil chalky and tasted like soap, and NO I did not try the Chili beer.

This place has a cool history. They bought the rights to use an old SFO brewery from times past. So, they have ressurected a SFO original and are doing a great job. They are still working on things, but the interior is spacious which is rare for SFO and has a really cool balcony on one side of the restaurant. The brewing tanks are small and located upstairs. It is also a full service bar along with a few wine selections. There are 2 huge flat screens on each side of the bar. From one conversation, it sounds like the food is pretty good as well.
