Might be the only abbey in a warehouse, but it is one hell of a brewery. You know it is going to be a treat when you a greeted by stacks upon stacks of barrels aging delicious beers. They had about 15 beers on tap offering almost all of their normal beers on tap and some other Port brewing beers. Tomme and his staff was kind enough to bring out some amazing cellar selections for the RBSG crowd and put on a delicious taco bar. An amazing experience for sure.

Visited during RBSG 2008. Had an awesome time visiting this brewery. The yhad such an amazing tasting set up for us it was ridiculous. Highlights include Isabelle Proximus, Cable Car, Yellow Bus, and Sinners Blend. Also had some kick ass Mexican food for lunch for us. The ambience was great as you walk amongst the barrels with beer aging, some of which hasnt even been released yet. Tomme is a cool guy, and was awesome for putting on a great show for us. Only negative was the heat for sure.

Barrels, barrels, heat, sweat, great beers, sour beers, long bar with lots of taps. Needs some A/C. Oh yeah, the food they made for us at RBSG really hit the spot.

What’s there to say. It’s a brewery...with a long ass tasting bar, wooden barrells of beer everywhere, and the beer they serve there is world class.
Only problem i have is with releases and it taking so damn long to get in.

Visited this brewery for the first time during RBSG on Saturday 8-2-08. The staff of LA treated us right, more than right, they worked hard and really went out of their way to make us welcome (and slightly drunk). Sampled a dozen rare beers that I thought I’d never have the chance to ever try. And, they served us some wonderful BBQ. I went back for three servings of the carnitas. Thanks for everything and keep on brewing!

My most amazing beer expiriance to date. I drove down from Los Angeles to pick up beer for a friend from the Patron’s Isabella Release. I ended up arriving two hours early, but the door is open. I walk into the brewery and recognize the man behind the makeshift bar to be Tomme. He is there with an older couple from Arizona just chatting, and offers me a drink, which I readly exept. Basically over the next two hours I get to pester Tomme with questions and get a tour from him along with the older couple. Amazing expiriance and I was able to try some amazing Port/Abbey stuff that I would have probably never been able to try otherwise. All in all I was offered and excepted samples of: Moonlit sessions, Judgement Day, very fresh Wipeout, Amazing Grace, and Burbon Barrel angel share. Tomme and his crew are amazing people. This is beer lovers Nirvana.

I just dropped by to check up on a release date and ended up hanging out for a half hour or so. Great beers on tap (all Lost Abbey) and a really cool staff. I got a chance to sample a few rare bottles that i would have otherwise not been able to get my hands on. Unfortunately, I didn’t have a chance to try any food but I will be going back soon...

Came in for a drink and a chat on a Friday. Friendly local crowd and service. They were bottling the Cuvee de Tomme when we were there and let us buy a bottle even though the release day was the day after.

I was there for a beer dinner put on in conjunction with Premiere Stainless. This also served as a launch party for Belle Proximus. The owner, Vince, cooked and I wish I could give it a food rating because the food was amazing.

From the barrels that occupy every line of sight to the stack of pallets holding beer there is no question but that this is a brewery. The barstools also hammer home that theme as they are simply kegs with bags of malt atop them. Nice.

The beer selection is everything int he Port/Lost Abbey arsenal and that is of course formidable. The staff was friendly and pleasant.

A great brewery to visit. The bar is always stocked with both there everyday beers and some specialty stuff. The people behind the bar always seem helpful and willing to answer any questions you might have...if they can’t answer them, Tomme is usually close by and can answer them himself. Worth the stop when in town.
