Was out in the area winery hopping with the wife and friends and strategically planed to be near Silverado at lunch time. It is an amazingly beautiful building and location, completely surrounded by vineyards; making the statement true: “it takes a lot of great beer to make good wine.” The food was very fresh and tasty; better than I expected it to be. The Porter was better than the Stout, actually, more a kin to a Stout than the Stout was. We sat outside because the afternoon was so insanely beautiful! Anyhow, if you are out North of Napa, I do recommend a stop at Silverado to refresh your palate with some local brew.

A beautiful brewpub in the countryisde of Napa valley, in a castle like structure, a spacious restaurant, adobo walls. Service is attentive, with generous pub grub selection. Beer is with little defaults, but rather run of the mill. Sampler is expensive, 6 4on. for 10.50$.

Location, Location Location. This place is located in one of the most beautiful areas of the country. Please if you come to Napa you have to come to this brewery. Service was good, beer was acceptable, but ambiance was great.

Nice venue. Very Spanish/Tuscan. Prompt and cheerful service. Servitor could discuss the beer, and other area brewpubs.

Popped in here for a few beers prior to dinner elsewhere. Didn’t actually go inside because it was too beautiful to subject myself to interior lights. Nice patio with a great stone building. Had six beers on tap of various styles...most of them pretty basic, but a few surprises. Food looked good, but didn’t order. Nice waitstaff.

Stopped by here on a weekend trip up to Davis and the Napa region to do some rock climbing and quality R&R with the girlfriend. Not really a high-class brewpub, average sized bar and just a few locals were hanging out in the back on a Saturday evening. Beer selection and quality is mediocre, however their seasonal porter was pretty damn tasty. Average prices and the atmosphere is a bit dark. Lovely looking place on the outside though, stone and old wood construction. Didn’t try the food. Stopped here after dinner at the Culinary Institute of America....which was insane.

Visited on a weekend. Scored a break from the wine tasting. Came in with such high hopes and none of them were met. Great location and neat surroundings but that is where our fun ended. Beers were very bland, watery and not pleasant. I tried to wash my beer down with a rootbeer, which was way too overpowering. I’m not sure of the direction. Food too was bland and regular, nothing exciting.

Visited on a weekday in the early afternoon. Cool place with lots of stone. They had six of their own beers on tap, two of which were seasonals. All were pretty ordinary. Nothing wowed me. Didn’t eat. Service was good, but it wasn’t very busy. Worth a stop.

Stopped here for late lunch one day between wine tastings. Definitely a needed respite. Had about 6 beers on tap and could get a 4oz sampler of each for a reasonable price. I thought the beers were pretty watery and bland, but the place has a nice feel to it in beautiful scenery and really good food. Definitely stop here.

Driving through wine country from Calistoga towards Napa, and stumbled across this place (wasn’t on my itinerary). Beers were better than expected. Definitely worth the visit if you’re wandering around wine country and want some suds instead. Didn’t try the food, but looked interesting and tasty from what I could see on others’ plates.
