This one holds a special place in my heart. This is litterally the place I discovered craft beer around 1999-2000. Though sometimes I feel the quality of food slowly decreased over the years, it’s still a great pleasure to grab a pint (or four).

Hand the Fin de Siècleon tap, very disappointing amber ale. Our friends were not too impressed with their beers as well, we all found them bland. We ordered nachos and frites, not very good at all. Food was below par even for pub snacks.

Place right by Saint Bock on St. Denis. Your typical average brewpub. They only had four taps on when I was there on a Saturday night. They don’t do samples or tasting trays - pint only here, but the bartender poured me a sample of one of their beers. Several floors without much character. Beer is ok, but there are much better places in Montreal - Saint Bock is a few doors down.

I rate this place highly, liking it more with evefry visit. It does not try to be what it is not and does what it is well. Lots of wood helps. Food is of above average originality for what is really a selection of bar snacks, with some highlights. Their beers are almost all authentic recreations of brews that the natives of their places of origin would recognise, from Czech to English via Danish, with dabs of Belgian and American.

Clean, large and well located place. Good service by one of the brewers, he know is products. Good selection, especially for pilsner. This is THE place for pilsner in Montreal. I didn’t try the food but the menu looked good. Price are more than reasonable. A great place for crisp pilsner!

Stopped by on a sunny afternoon to sample every beer from the menu. The pilsner is just fantastic and is apparently on tap 90% of the time - highly recommended. We had great service by a passionate beer geek. Prices are very reasonable. A must hit in Montreal, close to Le Cheval Blanc and Le Saint-Bock.

Really like this place. Always a nice selection of their brews and they are quite adventurous. Small place, but lots of good character.

April 2012. Average beers, German styles were best. They were out of a few beers that night too. Tasty nachos. Not worth seeking out if you are a real craft beer snob, but if you stumble upon it, it is worth a try. Not a likely repeat for me.

Nice pub, multi level, 10 beers on tap, had three, they were pretty good. Worth a visit.

Un mardi soir de la SAint-Valentin ;-) la place est pleine. Belle ambiance, serveur un peu frois mais sa collègue vient sauver les maubles. 7-8 beer disponible à ce moment, la plupart très bonne. Très pur comme style de brassage, la Cerna est excellente. Les accras de morue sont excellents et en général j’ai bien aimé.
