60 Probably too far out of the town centre to be of worth to your casual drinker, but if you like pubs with a time warp charm to them then this is the place. it’s a freestanding building set amongst terrace buildings and now new builds where the wire works used to be. |
78 Brewpub... but when is the brew coming? Anyhow we wait then! At first bit unwelcoming but fortunately I entered with a local so quickly making interesting acquaintances of quite a few people who love their beer who know their stuff. Little rooms for a quiet pint but can have as well some live band on and you get what you ask for. All well signed out though and never mind the busyness of the place, the beer is well taken care off. Overall can be a fun place ever now and then. |
78 Approx 6 on cask and info on the next beers coming in. Knowledgable staff. Selection of beer magazines. Price is around £2.35 per pint. Did not eat but food seemd nice and was being freshly made. Only criticism is that it’s a bit cold and unwelcoming otherwise very good.

84 Local type pub in a rough area of Warrington, refurbished lately with lots of little rooms where you can have a quiet pint. Excellent selection of beers with an emphasis on local beers. I went in on a sat night. It had karaoke on which didn’t really suit the pub, probably better for a drink on a sunday afternoon |
