8 reviews for Colorado Liquor Outlet
| auderale (35), Fairchild AFB, Washington | | March 9, 2009 Pretty decent selection. Staff was friendly if you asked for help, but didn’t get any without asking. Prices weren’t too bad, just wish they sold more singles instead of just the six packs. Worth a look see if your in the area. | | jbye4334 (44), Colorado Springs, Colorado | | February 20, 2009 Good selection of beer overall. Large store, but fairly plain. Staff was friendly, but not as helpful as some other stores in the city. Prices were average compared to other stores. This is one of the better liquor stores on the northwest side of town, but I don’t make any special trips there if I’m not in the area. | | Headbanger (45), Aurora, Illinois | | October 8, 2008 [ Updated December 17, 2008 ] Another warehouse store that has a decent selection on sixers and twelves but a limited 22oz and Belgian selection. Staff was pretty useless. Had an advertisement for Freaktoberfest and the gentleman didn’t even know it was a beer plus they didn’t have it. | | BlackForestCO (18), Fort Collins, Colorado | | December 28, 2007 For such a big place the selection is fairly limited, at least in terms of singles and Belgiums. Decent amount of six and twelve packs available, and a decent selection of German beers. Most of the staff is helpful, except one guy that told my mom that I needed to keep out of the beer and keep my nose in the books when she was looking for some beers for me for Christmas, even though I could pummel that gentleman in any sort of academic discussion he would like to have. Don’t question my intelligence and priorities, prick. | | BDR (55), Roseville, Minnesota | | March 2, 2007 Staff is always friendly and willing to spend plenty of time answering my questions. Not a stellar selection. | | BeerandBlues2 (159), Colorado Springs, Colorado | | April 28, 2006 [ Updated December 27, 2007 ] Decent place to buy beer but you will not find anything here that you cannot find elsewhere in Colorado Springs. If you are looking for out of the ordinary, go to Denver/Boulder/Loveland/Ft.Collins. The staff is helpful but does not know much about beer. As of November 2007 they are also carrying New Belgium La Folie, making it only the third establishment in the city to carry that. Nice selection of German beers as well as many CO micros. | | Ernest (105), Boulder, Colorado | | April 4, 2005 Average selection but overall disappointing. No match for the best stores in the other major front range cities. Went away empty-handed, as not only were some bottles amazingly old (Lagunitas Sirius from LAST spring), but it was all totally random and non-geeky. Staff had never heard of mead, but were friendly and at least tried to help in general. |
