Visited on 10/12/12. GABF Week. (Stop #2 of the day) A: The place has a little more of an upscale feel to it but not uptight. They have a huge bar area plus plenty of tables all around. Q: The beers we had were decent but nothing that would blow you away. S: Service was decent, it was lunchtime and the place was busy but we were sat and served in decent time. The server was friendly and knowledgeable. S: Selection was decent between the in house beers and guest taps from Wynkoop, covering a wide array of styles. F: Food had mixed reviews . Had a nice bowl of jambalaya and salmon tacos, which were really good but then had a burger that came out literally raw. V: The beers were about $5 pint, common for the area and food was decently priced too. Overall, a nice stop while in town , great lunch stop.

They have about 15 beers on tap. The food is cheap and pretty good for BBQ. The bartender is friendly and knowledgeable. Pretty typical brewpub ambiance, they are usually playing some good tunes, though. The beers I sampled were average (Red) to very good (Trademark Mosaic). Grab a pound of pulled pork to take home!

Cool place with a nice tap list and a few bottles. Food smelled good too.

I came here while I was at the GABF. It’s a cool place and the BBQ is pretty good the beers are decent but nothing out of this world. Great place.

Visited on October 6, 2012. had a 14 beer flight, ate the triple porker. Very nice food, nice beers, great service. I’d go back for sure.

Great southern BBQ joint feel to it, and not crowded for the 2 times I went during lunchtime. Small bar, but with a good amount of taps. They have some guest taps that they frankly waste on their bff’s (Wynkoop) mediocre beer, but their own beer is well on display. However, their stuff is just hit or miss. I thought half their stuff was well below average, with a few shining pieces of brilliance. Really mixed beers. And their sampling system is odd. You get 2 options: sample all their normal stuff, or sample all their specialty stuff. They don’t allow an in-between. Really curious. Nice staff, but I wouldn’t say they go out of their way.

Decent selection of beers. Mostly average stuff. Food was below average. Stout pot roast was a bit sour. Ambience is acceptable. Not terrible, but much better exists in Denver.

I love hitting this place up before a Rockies game. Some pretty good eats that are perfect before a ballgame. The beer isn’t amazing but it is a decent microbrewery.

stale atmosphere. nothing of interest on tap. food menu looked like it could have potential but I wasn’t convinced enough to try. not really that fun of a place to drink in denver. not in a great neighborhood, nothing else of interest around, and the crowd isn’t as young or interesting as I prefer.
