Great old english pub, Dark rich mahogany wood look with dim lighting make me feel like bellying up and having a few. The food is excellent as six of us sat down and all ordered different meals we were all very pleased. I tried most of their beers and was happy to do so. They have an excellent whisky selection and a real dart board which are both a must for this style pub.

{Update - I’ve been here a couple of times since moving to Denver, and it has become one of my favorite brewpubs in the area - selection is nice - far superior to the first, apparently off day I was there - the food is quite good, despite how average the menu might look - 3 buck beers during the day on the weekends is draw for me - quality brews in a relaxed atmosphere - the 1000 televisions makes it a bit loud, but no big deal} Nice british style pub in a semi-suburban area of Denver - there is a covered patio if you don’t dig the dimly-lit pub vibe, though - a sort of ho-hum lineup of session beers on when I was there, but the IPA was delicious - standard pub grub menu - very attentive bartenders - the crowd was mostly well-to-do middle aged professionals, which, judging by the neighborhood, did not shock me - there was one drunk douche sitting close to me that kept running his mouth about Obama being a communist (and other Fox News style bullshit) the whole time I was there, which kind of ruined the atmosphere a bit, but the bar can hardly be blamed for that - anyway, I would probably come back here if I knew they had something special on tap, but I wouldn’t be a regular.

Visited October 8, 2008. A little hard to find but worth it. I sat at the bar and had a burger, very good. 37th Suitcase - Saison - excellent Belgian beer. Not too heavy. Marriage Golden - strong Belgian Pale Ale - alcohol up front in the profile followed a notable hoppiness. Belgian yeast very evident. Excellent. Bull Wink Ale - Saison plus - brewed with date and fig concentrate and molasses. Tasty, less belgian character comes out. Tower ESB - excellent, subtle malt balanced perfectly with English hops. Man Beer - IPA - overall good, hop character anf alcohol strength are apparent, but do not dominate. No Coast IPA - more an English style IPA. To style. Advertised as hoppiest, medium at best. Gus - 1, 2, 3 year old wood aged beers blended. Initial strong malt is followed by a very pleasant woody character which smoothly transitions to the very noticable alcohol. 12 percent and very sneaky. Pimp My Rye - a rye wine. Rye character evident, malty sweet with a strange creamy almost frothy mouthfeel. Strong alcohol noticable.. Good, but not a favorite. The Legend of the Liquid Brain - Imperial Stout - caramel, chocolate sweet stout. Alcohol strength is present but understated. Light vanilla tones with a creamy coffe profile. Very, very good.

Dropped in here after GABF 08 as we were knocked out by the Bull & Bush beers sampled at the fest. Surprisingly English feel inside (ie a bit dark and very slightly grubby) it has a good atmosphere. The beer is very good indeed and well worth the visit. Unfortunately we had a ditzy barmaid whom didn’t seem to be quite with us and she told us the Liquid Brain wasn’t available (it was), neither could she describe what the blended beer (GUS) was either. Food was good. Will definitely go back.

We stayed at a hotel just a half mile from here, so we visited quite often. I love the ambiance: very dark, homey. The service was stellar. We had arguably the best bartender in my life. He bought us a couple rounds, was always overly friendly without being cheesy, very efficient worker, and displayed a vast knowledge of the product. There are well over 100 whiskeys available here, which I found myself more interested in the beer ultimately. The found is tasty enough. Friday is all you can eat fish and chips, which I discovered I really can’t fit as much of in my stomach as I’d like. I had a burger with smoked cheese and bacon which was delicious. Bull and Bush is a very fun, engaging pub with a ridiculously fine selection of whisky. Unfortunately, the beer is lacking for the high standard that’s been set by other breweries in the Denver area. Man beer is a great session ale though, and that kept me more than happy enough to keep coming back. On my next visit to Denver, this is gonna be my "hang out and

Nice spot. Old timey lodge setting and decor, indoor patio, multiple rooms, fireplace, couches, etc. Bar is small and cramped, not a lot of head space. Servers are great, unpretentious, know their stuff, treat you well. Beer selection is 5-6 regular plus 1-2 specials, maybe a cask if you are lucky. Food is more interesting pub grub. Mashed potatoes and green chile FTW.

My new favorite place to drink beer in Denver. Amazing depth of beer offerings; not one, but three baryleywines on tap in early November. The taster flight was bountiful and interesting, although barleywine drinkers might be advised to just start with barleywine because they are so yummy.

Great looking place-very cozy bar with a good atmosphere. Selection of B&B beer was a little limited, but the stout that I had was excellent. I was there on a busy night, there was an NFL playoff game AND a loud band playing, so it was very rowdy and loud. Much too loud to stick around and chat, but I am sure that it is normally alot calmer. I will revists the B&B soon for some of their beers and maybe some food. Parking was close and tight and left alot to be desired.

I stopped in for dinner on the last day of my business trip to Denver. I wanted to try this place previously but never had time. I’m glad I finally did. The atmosphere is very welcoming. The pub was crowded but the noise level certainly wasn’t high. I sat at the bar and Tiffany took good care of me. I started off with their Man Beer IPA. A decent enough IPA but not as hoppy as hyped. Maybe it’s my taste buds. However, the IPA did go very well with the spicy shrimp tacos I had. My dinnner was very tasty. They have a decent pub menu. After my meal I opted for a Stonehenge Stout. The stout had strong smell of roasted coffee and went down very smoothly. This was certainly an enjoyable way to wind down from the day. If I wasn’t already tired from my trip and didn’t have to get up early to catch a flight I would have definitely stayed longer. (I truly enjoy pubs and restaurants in the Denver area for being smoke free. Back in Virginia a night at a pub means you will go home smelling like a dirty ash tray.) I will make it a point to go back to Bull & Bush when I return to Denver.

Situated a good drive out of down town Denver. A dark woody - western like pub - with loads of seating. Seamingly a very college like place with lots of young people and 4 different college football games running at the same time - a big influx of college students entered during the evening making it very busy and quite loud. 11 beers on draft - but all of mediocre interest - go here for the ratings not to get top notch beers. The food was decent but nothing more and 5:45 the evening choises (starting at 6:00) was not total. 3 glass samplers at $3.75 seemed very reasonable.
