BlackDonald | Remind me to never come back here on a fucking weekend. This place was packed to the rafters. Piss poor service, I was ingnored by virtually every employee behind the bar. I am not that big of a fan of NB’s beers, but always stop when I am in town for the brewery only specials and seasonals. Very disappointed.

WesKBob | Extremely friendly staff to show you around. Better yet, they’re very knowledgeable and are more than happy to just talk beer with you. Great laid-back vibe.
One tip-try to go on a weekday during the summer. During the school year, they can get pretty crowded with CSU students coming for the four freebies before heading out to the bars in town. But the one time I was there during the middle of the week in the summer, there were only a handful of people there. My wife and I spent several hours just talking to the staff and they kept bringing us more beer.

Stine | Friendly, cool folks working in this outdoorsy and immaculately clean facility. Happy to talk with me about some very particular questions I had about their operations. The tour was a lot of fun and the focus on employees and sustainability never seemed contrived or forced. Just genuinely cool. A really great tour all around. Tap selection was diverse but a bit disappointing to me aside from the La Fleur Misseur Orval-ish offering. No La Folie on tap, and generally nothing sour. Bummer. Very cool, generous and positive brewery though. Absolutely worth the trip to have the tour and drink several free samples.

BlackForestCO | Visited New Belgium a number of times. Great place with friendly people. Usually 8-10 on tap, including La Folie and their one Lips of Faith beer. You get four samples for free. Tons of stuff for sale, including clothing, glassware, and beer. Don’t sell pints because they don’t have the appropriate license, which sort of stinks. Haven’t taken the tour yet, but from what you can see without taking it, it is an impressive brewery. If you are in Fort Collins, go there.

BDR | This was a really fun place. I’d love to go back during warmer weather and do the tour and walk the grounds. Nice interior with a bar big enough to accommodate a lot of people. Tap selection was good, including the lips of faith series. And most importantly, La Folie on tap. Damn, that is indeed one of the best beers in the state.

ratman197 | Nice open brightly lit tasting room. Got to take the long tour but I got a bit bored as I’m not a numbers and science kinda guy. The service ain’t bad if they’re not to crowded. The beer selection was ok with allthe regular beeers available including La Folie but none of their other limited beers. If you’ve never been stop in, but once you’ve been there it’s not worth going again unless you are a N.B. fan.

Dansting | Easily the greatest brewery tour I’ve ever taken, although we got a VIP tour instead of the normal one (which I’m sure is still awesome). Our tour guide really knew his stuff, and was about as cool of a guy as there is. If I could give the "Service" a higher rating than a 10, I would. Since there were only four of us in the tour, he didn’t go over the normal tour stuff that can get boring after so many tours. He talked about what we wanted him to for the most part. The normal tour is probably 45 minutes, while ours was an hour and a half. They had a nice selection of clothes and other merchandise too. The beers were very good, and they even had their Abbey Cru and La Folie on tap, plus they had the La Folie for sale. If you are ever in eastern Colorado, you definitely need to go to New Belgium for a tour. And if you can ever find a way to get a VIP tour, it’ll be worth the trip just for that.

| roto_guru | A must see event, but call ahead for guided tours (we still haven’t made it and will probably do the self-guided). A sample of 4 tasters is FREE! However you must be seated, which can be a bear on always busy weekends. LaFolie is usually available everything else is standard liquor store fare.

jefcon | A fantastic guided tour, about an hour in length, featuring a tasting in the upstairs bar, this one of the outstanding Le Terroir. Following the tour, which was really interesting, four tastes of tap offerings downstairs in the bar. Though no food is served, there is a vibrant downtown in Ft. Collins with a number of good, affordable options. The beer is fresh, all the staff friendly and knowledgable, and the unique approach of this brewery makes the whole experience educational and rewarding.

| waldowalters | We arrived here rather early, too early for a proper tour, so we did the self-guided tour. After going to the bar and going through the tasting. We talked for a while with the guys behind the bar. Everyone was very friendly. After a while, one of the guys said he would give us a limited tour, so he took us around. Very enjoyable, he even poured us a tasting of some of the brews they had just for employees of the brewery, and one they had experimented with. Good tour.
