TrevorFloyd (8), Connecticut does not count - explanation | | May 27, 2006 Belgian selection was rather surprising for such a location, with a few things I haven’t seen elsewhere, but overall they don’t offer much. I picked up a 120 minute IPA, which is always nice to see, but the price was a bit higher than average too. Worth a gander if you’re driving by and have the time, but nothing to go out of the way for. | | desurfer (70), Pinellas Park, Florida | | September 22, 2005 Last time I was there, there wasn’t anything worth mentioning on this site. Hopefully times have changed, because Cheshire is extremely beer deprived. | | Cletus (138), Connecticut | | July 21, 2005 This store is very big and airy which is surprising when you first walk in. The beer is at the back of the store and for the most part is limited to macros and relatively easy to get micros. They also have a decent Belgian selection and stock all the CT brews as well as some smaller hard to find brewers like Buzzard’s Bay. Their overall selection is somewhat disappointing, but worth checking out if you’re in the area. When I was there, they were doing a Dogfish sampling. Anyone who takes the time to offer beer samples is worth a mention in my book. |
