March 17, 2009 Small bottle shop, really can’t miss it if your looking around on the walk up to the castle. Selection was small, but had some beers I couldn’t find anywhere else. Lady working was nice and explained everything in English to me. Take my advice though and buy your bottles on the way down, not up!! |

November 29, 2008 Walking around the Charles bridge area I stopped here a few times to purchase quite a few bottles during my time in Prague. I’m new to Czech beers so was very pleased with what was available in the shop. |

June 4, 2008 For the walk up the hill to Klasterni Pivovar Strahov this beer shop is certainly worth a couple minutes of your time. Honestly I wasn’t really interested in bottled Czech beer, I mean I’m here because I want the stuff as fresh as possible, and combine that with my Czech/Slavik not being so great, I didn’t find anything on my travel lists that scored that high. I was hoping to find a couple of Baltic porters but that seemed difficult. Nonetheless, the selection is definitely good, but prices are above average due to proximity to the tourist areas on the western side of the Charles Bridge. |
