| Glouglouburp (142), Montreal, Quebec | | September 30, 2008 Pretty well located basement bar not far from the touristy old Prague.. The two very cosy rooms that sits about 60 people. Very warm neighbourhood put atmosphere. Tap selection was 4 different Cerna Hora. Also some bottles, but who cares about bottles in Czech Republic. Wine and liquor too. For the beer geek this seems to be the place in Prague to drink Cerna Hora (a pretty decent brewery), and for everybody else this is a nice cosy authentic pub. | | MartinT (301), Montreal, Quebec | | May 4, 2008 This tiny basement café offers a host of Cerna Hora beers on tap and in bottles, including the rare Nefiltrované Vycepni. An aquarium, classical violins and black and white pics surround you as other patrons chat away, relaxing. The enthusiastic young couple who tend the place are eager to please and speak some English. This is not too far from the center, in the Zizkov neighbourhood, so if you care to try Cerna Hora beers on tap, this might be one of your chances unless you go out to Moravia. Oh, you can also have breakfast here... (72e rating d’établissement) | | Quack-Duck (55), Bodensee, Germany | | October 29, 2007 The six different Cerna Hora beers were the main reason to visit the place. The mneu looked good, the food was very nice indeed. Huge helpings of well-prepared Czech food. The menu included Moravian specialities not often found on the menue of Prague restaurants. Friendly staff. | | pivnizub (216), Porúří, Germany | | October 21, 2007 [ Updated October 27, 2007 ] Smaller suburban (and almost subterranean) restaurant in Žižkov, serving six different beers from the moravian ČERNA HORA brewery, beers that are in common hard to find in Bohemia. Good for a lunch, because the level of food prepared there is 1.3 inches higher than in most of the boring Prague restaurants.......... |
