One of my favourite places. Great staff, brilliant beers, proper food, close enough to the center. Although it is almost already overwhelmed by people, but the place’s worth visiting and booking before. :-)

Visited this summer (2013) only the nice "beergarden" after a "warm-up" at Nota Bene; the very friendly service and a good selection of czech micros ( not only Matuška and Unětíce) are worth a detour!

Weird labyrinth like place with a small bar with 15 tap beers and a pretty decent bottle selection. Very much a food place, like most of Prague, but the service was quick and efficient.

When you enter through the front door, you’ll be in a hallway with tables and chairs, leading out to a tight little covered beer garden. Stairs lead down to a cellar restaurant. The place was packed both times with a wide cross-section of Prague society...young and old, prosperous and less so, educated and blue collar...I really enjoyed both my visits.

i was really impressed by this place. first i had some food from the grill on the ground floor accompanied by a fine selection of draft beers. all czech, but some really excellent things (i.e from pivovar matuska). after the food i went to the pub in the basement where they had some other taps (totally blown away by falkon nightstalker). prices are great, a must visit when in praha!

A place to fill up on both food and beer, tasty beer snack or a full Czech meal at very reasonable cost and a great tap list of interesting Czech micros. I sat outside at my visit, but the main restaurant is located in the small basement. Friendly and smiling personell, give this place the little extra

Kulovy Blesk (ball of lightning?) is a great pub to sample beer from Czech microbreweries. All the usual suspects (Kocour, Matuska, Unetice, etc) are to be found at the 17 something taps. Smokefree, great service, beers in good condition and friendly atmosphere. Easy to find and quite sentral. A must visit when in Praha.

A great place near I.P. Pavlova. But be careful, the heavily trafficked streets in this part of town can be hazardous to cross for a slightly drunken beer geek, hurrying to the next craft beer pub. Kulovy Blesk is a nice cellar pub divided into several rooms. Great selection from Matuska, Kocour and other czech craft breweries. Excellent service. (Visited March 16th 2013)

Superb little basement restaurant that just seem to do everything very well. Friendly atmosphere, even friendlier and more accommodating waitress, superb Czech tap selection (nearly as amazing as Zly Casy’s) and food of great quality (I had a paprika-spiked tatarak). All at very reasonable prices, of course. A must visit when in Prague.

Visited on a Saturday night. Located in the basement, the place feels slightly cramped. It is made of four small rooms with tables that create a vintage feel. We were taken care of by a motherly waitress who was very caring. The selection is excellent with a good mix of microbrews representing both czech classics and the new wave of czech brewing. I had goulash which was quite good and well priced. Excellent place.
