Glouglouburp | A very relaxed pub a 10 minute walk from the touristy part of Prague. Eclectic crowd of all ages with few tourists. Sits about 50. Very clean decoration with lots of wood, it has an English-pub type of atmosphere. Only three beers on tap when I was there but they have 8 tap lines so there might be days with a better choice. Beers were from bland to good (but not very good). Food was above average and that’s not a small feat considering the average high quality of food in Czech Republic. Beer alone doesn’t justify the detour, but beer + food makes for a decent experience.

ChristianScheffel | A nice and very local place, and after all, not that far away. I arrived as they opened and for obvious reasons got quick and attentive service. But soon it filled up with a typical lunch break crowd who also got fast service even when the place was near full. Solid beers, and a good lunch.
Bonus tip: When you’re done here, the tram 25 will take you to Pivni Galerie

MartinT | This cozy brewpub out of Liben is worth the trek out for a meal and a few pints. There were three beers on when we visited, my favorite being their 12-degree Lezak. They also had a 15-degree Ale and a Weissbier, both of which are very rare styles in this country. I had a fantastically thick and delicious goulash which was nicely presented in its plate. Our waitress was very attentive and spoke English quite well. The open pub and clean wood reminded me of Keesmann in Bamberg, for some reason. The crowd here was much younger than the ones you find in the usual Czech brewpub a promising sign, if you ask me. I would not prioritize this brwepub if you don’t have more than a few days in Prague, but it’s not that difficult to get to, and everything we had was pleasant, if not very good. You can get off at the Kobylisy metro station and take a tram which will take you to Bulovka street quite easily.

| Pivero | Nice place, really worth going to though is off the beaten track.
It can get a bit noisy in the evenings and on Fridays there are concerts. Very popular with the people from the neighbourhood.
Some of the beers, like tmave 14% can be simply great. And the food isn’t too shabby either.

mullet | Very much tucked away from passing traffic out in suburban Prague, but not too difficult to find. Feels more like a German brewpub than a Czech pub for some reason, the wood I suppose. Quite a few punters there before midday on a weekday when I was there - always a good sign - and the air was thick with the smell of boiling wort. The two regular beers are good (not the best in town, but very nice) but the seasonal when I was there (Ale) was a real disaster. Food was quite good and the serving ladies didn’t mind a weird foreigner hanging around for 1.5 hours by himself waiting for his drinking partner to arrive. Nice place. I’m glad I visited, but doubt I’ll rush back next time I’m in town purely on account of the location. There’s no shortage of good beer in central Prague.

henrikb | Very friendly non-English speaking brewpub in the outskirts of Prague. A bit hard to find, even though it is very close to the tram stop. They also serve the best food I had in Prague (actually the only good food I had). Richter is #1 on my Prague pub list.

gnoff | You pretty much have to know where you are going to find this place, but it’s well worth looking for. One of the few non-tourist brew pubs in Prague, nice service and veru cosy. Did not try the food.

pivnizub | A nice pub, rather genuine, but not overwhelming.......The food isn’t very tasty, the atmosphere a bit boring, like in a railway-station’s waiting room, but the interesting beers are worth a detour, that’s for shure.

omhper | The most genuine brewpub in Prague.
You won’t see too many tourists here, instead you’ll meet locals enjoying the good beer to a more normal Czech price. The staff may not always be too skilled in foreign languages, but as they are caring and friendly this is not an issue. I highly recommend this place.
They serve one standard beer, the PuB Premium, and a rotating selcetion of seasonals. With some bad luck you may find though, like I did, that the seasonals were all out.
