As you enter the lobby there’s a big restaurant on the right and a small bar on the left. The food was good, but the restaurant waiter wasn’t interested in selling the house beers the only draft beer there was Budvar. A few steps away in the bar, Oldgott was on tap. It’s a nondescript amber lager, a bit caramelly-sweet. The X-33, in bottles, was strong and very sweet. Bar service was good, restaurant service was indifferent.

This place has a souvenirshop with glassware, tshirts and two beers ( X-33 and Oldgott). To the right at the entrance theres a restaurant and to the left a small budvar bar. The bar was pretty nice with good service. Tried the Oldgott on tap there which was really good.

I’m a bit divided at this place. You start by going to a small shop, selling their beers on bottle as well as T-shirts. Though that is mostly for the tourists, the man behind the counter is not good at either English or German - not the best choice. The restaurant was very noisy and there were lots of tourists. Upstairs was more cosy, though it was difficult to know what actually belonged to what... Instead. to the left of the entrance, there is a small Budvar pub, serving the Oldgott and letting us enjoy the X33 we bought from the shop guy. Efficient and friendly service.

A didn’t visit the dungeon labyrinth of a restaurant, but the secluded brewpub was nice enough. And the Budweiser bar left of the main entrance was quick and friendly.

Cosy place with splendid beer, one could perhaps wish for a few more on tap. Have a look in the souvenir shop for bottles to take away.

Yup, tourists do abound in this place, but for a mug of Oldgott from the barrel and a decent meal it’s not that bad of a place to visit. Food was actually really good compared to some other highly touted places we visited on our trip. Be sure to drink and eat upstairs or else you’ll only get bottled beer. Prices are about double what you would pay outside of the city center, much more than anything found in Plzen, for example. If you can stand the ugly tourists in some of the rooms, it would be worth visiting, although the beer quality of this brewery specifically is nothing to write home about.

Not convinced about this place. Seems to be partly set up for the tourist trade but then the 4 Budvar tap was very quite, as was the brewery bar at the back. Service was slighly aloof but ok. Critical that you buy the X-33 here should you be searching for it (quite exy at 111ck) as I paid twice that elsewhere!

It was nice to get out of the sun and into a nice cofortable booth. The waiters were a hustling since the place was realy getting packed. It is very twisty and windy. A number of bars and service areas. I got turned around once and had to backtrack to find my table, or maybe it was the oldgott kicking in. The brewing area near the WC was well presented but I truly appreciated the little souvinery shop with the single bottles for sale. Hard to get the waiters attention when we were ready to go but overall a nice experience.

The best choice in Prague. Nice mini-brewery, nice fermentation-casks, so friendly minipivovar. The food was really delisicious and fine, the beers were good. Not so crowded like U-Fleku or Novometsky. I liked it
