| visionthing (81), Oslo, Norway | | December 16, 2011 Nice place in a central location. The sample tray is a good way to start. Didn’t try the food. | | Rasmus40 (54), Beder, Aarhus, Denmark | | November 22, 2011 Cosy bar, although it does get crowded and noisy. Friendly service. The selection consists of their own beers on tap (7 when I was there) and a selection of 20-30 bottles with nothing too rare. The prices were good especially for such a central location. I didn’t try the food. | | Meilby (26), Kristiansand, Norway | | November 7, 2011 Small place, friendly service minded staff, They sell 5x 10cl samples for 80 kr. The beers are decent and they had 8 of there own beers on tap. | | Cunningham (76), Halden, Norway | | October 20, 2011 mye spennende øl og sentralt :-) | | Skinnyviking (113), Copenhagen, Denmark | | July 22, 2011 Small and cosy bar with dark interiour. Relatively big restaurant part. Bar and tables in the yard in summertime. The majority of their beers are sered on draught but sometimes thay have a tap with cask. Normally also a tap from a guest brewery. A few bottled beers, Danish and foreign. The staff is trained in their own brews. Food is excellent but not especially cheap. Beers are normally middle of the road. Please notice that you can get a sampler of 5 beers at a fair price. | | Pinball (54), Copenhagen, Denmark | | July 7, 2011 Nice cosy bar and restaurant with outdoor serving in central copenhagen. Haven’t tried the food, but it looks like it’s high end quality, althogh last time i checked no vegetarian dishes (i’m a vegetarian). The beer they brew is english inspired but of a high quality meaning that You won’t get as extreme stuff as at nørrebro bryghus for instance, but if You like well brewed english style beer, they do have variety and some of the beers i’ve had have been both well tasting and interesting. Selection is fine and varied, and each beer has its own story. | | Boudicca (110), London, England | | July 6, 2011 Brewpub Kobenhavn is accessed through a lovely old courtyard enclosed by a three or four storey building with petrol blue woodwork and walls washed in red ochre.
There are steps down into the cosy semi-basement bar with its low ceiling, tea lights (of course!) and suede covered chairs and banquettes. It could appear cluttered but it doesn’t – it carries itself off with style and aplomb. Off the bar, alongside the courtyard, there’s a long narrow area set up for formal dining and outside in the courtyard there’s an outside bar (which I’ve never seen open) with tables and wicker chairs under huge parasols. If you’re cold, there are outside heaters (and blankets no doubt!) and if the courtyard is crowded (I’ve never found it to be so, but it must happen), there are a few low tables and stools in the entrance alley.
Service is friendly and proficient. In May 2011 there were six of their own brews, including a cider, and a guest beer on tap as well as bottles such as Sogaard and Brewpub sodas. We tried Armstrong IPA and Brewster SPA/IPA. We didn’t eat on this occasion but I’ve eaten there before and remember the food being good.
(Last visited 25 May 2011).
| | Nisse666 (62), Göteborg, Sweden | | June 25, 2011 Had a lunch and some tasters toghether with ekstedt here before CPHBF 201. Nice settled close to the tourists but not crowded. Beer a bit of, food great but oversalted - pitty becasue it looked super. Clean toilett. | | Kronebryg (14), Sorgenfri, Denmark | | April 25, 2011 As an entry to a brepu it is ok, but the beers could be a lot better. To "comercial" in order to please the average guy. | | deanso (82), the Hague, Netherlands | | April 11, 2011 A nice brewpub, close to the main square. Quite decent beers. Expensive but that’s true for all bars in Copenhagen. |
