During a drinking week in Copenhagen our self-sacrificing Danish host, Skinnyviking, ordered a table at this centrally located place on a Friday eve. The food was delicious and so were the Belgian ales. I had wild boar steak covered with Belgian cheese very well paired with some excellent bottles from Malheur, recommended by a service minded and knowledgeable staff. After dinner we went downstairs to enjoy some well kept Swedish ales on tap from the Ocean and Närke breweries. A comfortable and airy venue devoted to eating and drinking experiences on a high level (30.05.2008).

The best place out of Belgium to drik Belgian beer. Be prepared to wait for your beer, and don’t go there if you don’t like a crowd. The resturant have the best beer-oriented kitchen in Copenhagen (Sorry Nørrebro Bryghus, but it is true).

Har spist der en enkel gang hvor maden stort set svarede til prisniveauet, men ikke mindblowing på nogen måde. Til gengæld er udvalget af øl outstanding, betjeningen er solid. Virkelig et godt sted at tilbringe en aften.

Had dinner in the restaurant - includes nice dishes with beer. The bar needs seats but has an excellent selection of especially Belgian beers - incl. lambic and rarities

100-150 different beers. Mainly Belgium. Rare treats from narke & dugges always. Friendly waitress & cozy place overall - could easily be in Belgium! I got, by a mistake, a old beermenu, and found a Kwelchouffe. Like a miracle she found a bottle that exprired in 2005 and I brought it back home with me. The last bottle of course:-) Amazing1

Restaurent with lots of beers, mostly Belgians, some times a rare Swede or two. Very good food... a bit small servings though. Also has a bar downstairs.

Visited a summers day. The garden was open, but we were in the bar. Nice interior. Good barwoman, good explanations. Rather fien selection of Belgian beers, and (still) quite many I havn’t tasted yet. The food is said to be fine (have to try it later). We’ll be back.

Nice place, only saw the ’beer-garden’ and had a beer outside. Good selection of belgian beers. Didn’t try the food. Good place, good location.

Nicely located in a small ’beer-garden’ near Kongens Nytorv. Almost all Belgian beers from tap. Haven’t tried the food, but the beer-menu looks promising. Nice place to go for Belgian beers.

Cozy place, quite dark and ambient. Lots of Belgians on tap and a regular Närke as well (which is always nice), a good selevtion of rarities and vintages as well. Staff is well-knowing and very friendly. Didn’t eat there. Have eaten there since, which is an experience to savour. Wonderful food balanced nicely with beer (both in glass and in the dish). Good guidance as to which beer might fit the food.
