An incredibly cozy place. Surrounded beautifully by Hareskoven. I didn’t sit in the restaurant, but in the ’bar’. I had some tasters and got quite a good service. The tasters are reasonably priced, but their bottles an pint are a bit steep. Quality of their beers? Varying.

The surroundings are fantastic, set in the middle of a scenic forrest, and the interior has been very nicely decorated, but the acoustics are bad, which makes it quite noisy and something about the airflow makes you get the smoke from across the room in your nose. The service is very poor, my first time there I was told they had a Czech wheat beer?!? made with 50% malt and 50% hops - it ended up being a fusion between a wit and a hefe weizen. The second time around, I had a beer I didn’t like (there was nothing wrong with it), and all the waitor had to say was too bad. The service is also very slow. For a brewpub I think the selection is fine - 6 standard beer and sometimes a seasonal, do not use the homepage for checking on the beers, since it is only updated bimonthly. I’ve heard complaints over the food, but I’ve eaten there twice and have no complaints, but it is not spectacular either. Most of the beers are drinkable, but my best rating is a 3.5 for one of the seasonals.

Only 3 of their beers were available at the time of my 1. wisit. We were not very fortunate with our table, in spite the fact that we booked quite some time in advance. Guests without bookings got better tables!!!! Well, wtf I was there for the beers. The place lacs some cosyness and intimity. Very noisy. The waiter at my table didn’t have the time nor the knowledge to tell me about the beers served. The food he told a little about. The food was good though, and went well with the beers. I will come by once in a while to taste their beers, but its nothing to go off the beaten track for.
