Nice, friendly pub in suburban Auckland. The English theme is a little overdone as TheGrandMaster notes but a welcome change from even more fake Irish pubs and dreary ’Sports’ bars. A good selection of beers on tap to suit all tastes - alas only the Fuggles on handpump. My favourites being the Fuggles, Dark Star and I usually like a Monk’s Habit to finish. Andrew the Bar Manager pulls a good pint and has a good crew - including very cute Chrissy.

Very fond memories of this place after watching the Warriors histroric and breathtaking 18-15 win over the Melbourne Storm. The atmosphere was electric and I’m surprised the roof is still sitting on top. I don’t mind the Cock & Bulls, maybe try to give them that English feel and overdo it with clutter. The beer can be a bit mixed too, but I enjoy having a couple and a chat.
