Pleasant, average ambiance. Average service. Good selection, Dudák always + some other small czech breweries on changing tap. Good prices. Above average.

Strange basement interior with bar and restaurant sides sectioned on either side of the stairwell. Cloud of cigarette smoke no matter where you site. Dudak Svetly 12°, Poutnik 12° and Kavec Psenice 13° on tap. The Dudak and Kavec were sampled and both were in poor shape.

Located in a basement, they have 4 taps pouring beers from small and medium sized breweries, sadly not all in top conditions when I visited. Interior shows nothing special nor interesting. Their beers can be found elsewhere and ambiance was kind of boring so I’m not sure I will return "on purpose".

Visited in May of 2009. Was closed for the night our first stop, but second time we were let in. Not too much to add. Did not eat. Good place to get rare beers.

This cellar restaurant in the center of Brünn (just 300m from the Naměsti Svobody) looks like a converted basement flat: one small tap room and several small sitting rooms off it. They offer only 2 to 3 beers on tap, but among these is the very rare 12° Kvasnicovy Ležák from Strakonice, here called Sklepák (roughly translated: Kellerbier). Not a must, but still worth a visit when You are in Brünn..........
