A few blocks from the parliment building, they have some small signs pointing toward the brewery. Outdoor patio area in front of large building. Entrance with historical brewing implements on display, along with some B&W photos. Steps down to main drinking area with dozens of long wooden "picnic" tables. Upstairs loft seating with view upon open brewhouse at center of room. Raised rear seating area with potential stage and view into cold room and its stainless steel vessels. One oddity - a glass-enclosed non-smoking "room" in the center of the floor, ignored by everyone. Tasty German-style meat dishes. Wooden paddle-style server tray of a dozen 1/2 liter glass mugs. Two house brews. No merchandise for sale. Occaisional views of the brewer attending to the copper vessles. Hard to escape the prevalent second-hand smoke. Given the total lack of competition in the capital, worth a repeat visit.
