Sounds like I had a similar experience to the other raters. We were the only people there and the service was very good, though you’d expect it to be with only two customers. I thought the dark beer was very good, food was pretty average. The back of the building was leaking in the rain. Kind of a depressing place, which appeals to me in some ways.

We were the only patrons here too, which made the atmosphere a little sad and almost creepy even though the room is open to the street. They have a lot of space in the back for parties. The food is average, they use a lot of corn starch in the sauces. The beer is not so good. This is among the lower tier of Hanoi brewpubs.

Located in busy Ma May, you’ll find the two Big Man beers available here. Friendly staff greet you at the door, and the service overall is very good but on both occasions I was the only patron here (that happens to me a lot in Vietnam) though is was earlier in the day. The good thing is the staff are friendly to chat, and the chef served up tasty Vietnamese style cuisine. The beers are what you would expect though, and now that Red Beer is closed I’d expect this place to get busier.
