A normal shop for take away but you find rare stuff and super organic food. Great client treatment.

An excellent shop for beers from Finnish micros, although the prices could be better. Worth visiting for ticks from breweries such as Stadin,Vakka-Suomen and other small breweries (beers of 4.7% and under that is). You can also buy things such as bread, cheese, cider and chocolate from small Finnish producers. Worth visiting.

Exciting little store with lots of Finnish goodies - a bit in the ĎFine food storeí direction. Bear some resemblance to Fenaknoken in Oslo. It is very centrally located in the Mannerheim Street just two-three minutes walk from the railway station. Their beers are to be found in the fridge and stocked in boxes in the first section of the store. I found beers from breweries that I hadnít had before, like the local Stadin and Beer Hunters. Very friendly and knowledgeable service. Open on Sundays (visited 03.02.2011).

Canít miss it really, great location and if a shop can have atmosphere, this has it. Good selection of bottled micros, a little expensive but what isnít in Finland (again, apart from apples and onions). This is THE place to get Stadin beers now and huge thank to TBone for the tip! Very friendly service but donít go in there with big bills, I had to miss out on a beer because I could only scrounge up enough change for one (and I had several hundred Euros on me). Oh yeah, they also have a good selection of sima (mead), though I missed out on those.

Everything said already. The selection varies a lot. Sometimes you can find lots of interesting brews, something not. Anyway itís always worth visiting and Alko Arkadia nearby.

Agree with all the earlier raters. Good chocolates also for sell. The merchandice is not so expensive as I expected from a store like this. Found some beers I never had heard of from a new micro brewer. Positive!

Tiny shop (very very small) selling organic Finnish food (bread, cheese, jam etc.) from small producers. They also have the most of Finnish bottled 4.7% or less micro brewery beers and ciders available, many of them kept in the fridge. Service is sometimes even overfriendly :) Location is very central in Lasipalatsi next to Alko Arkadia.

An eco-oriented food shop, but with many beers by most small independent brewers in Finland. 5 decent ciders too. Friendly staff - and not as hippy as some other eco-oriented shops. No crunchy shower-avoiders to be seen.
