68 While not overwhelming, thay had four of their own beers on tap, and they gave me free samples so I could decide which ones to order. The tables outside were fine on a hot day. |
66 Not too much beers, but usually 4-6 of their own Teerenpeli beers, and 1-2 own ciders. Friendly staff, if you are alone here, and start talking, they will join you at the table until they get more customers. If you are hungry (even major hungry), try their "sulami" toasts instead of going to some mcdonalds or other place. The sulamis are the size of a paper (a4 size) 2 cm think. you will definitively walk around with stomach full rest of the day... and they’re delicious .) |
68 Update: In May 2007 the house beer selection was Onnenpekka (pilsener), Laiskajaakko (dunkel), Sauhusanttu (smoked), Rentoreino (rye beer), Vauhtiveikko (hefeweizen) and Mahtimikko (stout). In fact, only the last one is a real house beer (see below). Also, 3 house ciders were available. ******* Original rating (4/7/10/-/14): A brewpub with a good location in the centre of Helsinki not far from the central railway station. This is actually a small side brewery of Teerenpeli brewery in Lahti. In April 2006 they had two “real” house beers (Easter bock and bitter), but three other “house beers” brewed in Teerenpeli Lahti were also available on tap. The beer selection is varying depending on the season. In addition, Teerenpeli ciders and more than 20 bottled beers were available. Nice atmosphere, friendly service, toasts, non-smoking area, background music and patio for use in Summer. Recommended! |
