Great selection, but to me it’s the service here that makes the place. Their food options are basically just finger-style pub food (don’t expect a real meal here), but that’s my only knock on the place. Prices are a little high, but that’s to be expected on the East Side.If I’m in the area, I consider this a go-to stop.

Great location, on the small side, and has a stark feel to it. Both bottle and draft selection are up front and easy to see from the bar. No too hip to the fluorescent lites so close to the bottles unless maybe they sell so fast. Bartenders were helpful and competent. Music is pretty loud and aimed at the younger crowd. Average age this Wed late Sept nite is about mid-20s. Bathroom is so-so. Lots of TVs with sports. I’d return.

I’m familiar with the WOB franchise from prior visits in FL. I really enjoyed the Westchase location, so I was super excited to hear that the chain was coming to Milwaukee. After several delays and opening being pushed back multiple times, they finally opened on Brady Street. I’ve visited twice since they opened. The bar itself is in a cool location, right in the center of the Brady Street entertainment district. The only rewal competition for craft beer is Nomad a couple blocks down. There is a huge bar along the back wall with several booth and tables. They have about 40 drafts. The draft list has a few gems occasionally, but most of the time it’s nothing to write home about. The crowd is quite different from your usual craft beer crowd, and leans more towards the college-aged. It’s pretty loud in there at times (I sound like an old man) When it was busy, it took quite awhile to get a beer, and I had to wave down the bartender several times. Based on my experiences at other WOB locations, I’m actually a little let down by this place. I will still probably stop by here occasionally, but it won’t be on my regular rotation.

Southern chain I’ve never visited before, this bar opened in August. 40 taps, good selection, with locals, US micros, and internationals on draft. Staff were really nice and like beer. Huge bottle selection. Visited twice at happy hour pricing and what a deal, $2.5 pints until 7. Local pints were $5.
