96 The smallest pub in Oslo, about 19 square meters, manages to contain an impressive number of beers and some of the friendliest and most knowledgeable beer-bartenders in Norway. You can bring your own food if you wish, because this place is all about the beer. The atmosphere is relaxed, and don’t be surprised if you start speaking to the neighboring table during your stay, even though people tend to be a little cold in Norway. They have some interesting taps from time to time, but the best stuff is in bottles in the backroom. If your up for some friendly beer-tasting in Oslo, this is the place for you, as most other places tend to be loud and have less of a selection. |
84 Very nice small pub/bar! Very knowledgeable barkeeper. 10 taps, about 150 bottles, 5-10 of which Ive never seen before. Including 3 bottles from Swiss Trois Dames, some german special brews, and also good belgian stuff. A must visit in Oslo |
80 Nice small place with a fine ambience.
Good selection, although prices are a little bit high.
Friendly knowledgeable staff. |
64 Very small pub just on the other side of the street of Øltorget; which is owned by the same people. OK selection, but for me it was only 7-8 interesting beers when i visited. OK amount of taps, but not the most interesting ones. OK place |
76 Small pub just opposite Mathallen. Not much room inside, but a nice and pleasant patio. Beer selection is pretty nice, but nothing I would go out of my way for these days, but the location next to Mathallen with several other beer places makes this area worth a detour. Not the cheapest place in the city, but friendly and knowledgeable staff. Worth a visit if you’re in the area. (Visited June 2013) |
