Devassa is a pretty good place to unwind with a few decent beers after a hard day on the beach. Devassa beer is reasonable but definitely better than most Brazilian chopp (Draught Beer). My favorite place in a city of plenty! I tried all seven verieties in one sitting (not the best way to truly rate beer, but it is Rio ya know!) All where excellent, I especially like the loira e negra. opposite ends of the spectrum, but I love blondes and pilsners-but after drinking the sucas - super-sweet darks brewed by antartica and modela down there in paradise, the stout dark was a pleasant suprise. I visited the one in Ipanema; I didn’t know then that there were so many location: it explains much better the concept. The beers are really bad. The ambiance is ok (crowded but lively). Ótimo bar - cerveja própria. Fui no bar localizado em São Paulo - Alameda Lourena. ambiente agradável, bom serviço, boa comida e boa cerveja. Nice place to drink a excelent beer, the ambience is good, beautifull women and the blond beer is the best for me. :)
Here have 3 kind of beer, Loira (Blond), India (Indian) and Mulata (Black). |
