A lovely old Meiji era building is now their gift shop, in front of tgat building there’s a glass walled room which gives you a view of two mash tuns-that’s pretty much the brewery. A cool looking place with friendly staff, no more taps that I could see but bottles are just 410 yen & you can choose old school typography labels or cute character+Mt.Fuji labels. They were happy enough to lend me a glass & let me chill out there. No English seemed spoken, roughly 15-20 minutes on foot from Hamamatsu station - about 10 minutes from Mein Schloss. It is more of a sake place than a beer place but I am pretty sure they offer tours of the sake brewery if that’s your thing. Tasty beers, worth stopping by if in the area.

The place sucked. We got a tour of the sake factory and then thought the beer brewery, but instead the guy just pointed out where the brewery was. We understood why when we went to the tasting room after and tried the beers. Had a hard time finishing the sample try. Beer is just an after thought and it shows.

A sake maker that also brews three beers. Two of the beers were pretty good. Many sakes were available for tasting as well. Seems they have an all-you-can-drink beer garden in the summer on weekends. Worth a stop if you are in the city. Better beer than the other local brewer.
