Outdoor garden serving two or three businesses, including Cafe Medusa, Svejk and perhaps the Chinese restaurant upstairs. Friendly waiter, spoke English. Only the Blonde available on an April evening. Pleasant enough surroundings, but very quiet on a weeknight. Unfortunately the beer was pretty awful. Only worth visiting if you’re on the street and are looking for a nice place to hang outside.

The map doesn’t show the right location for this place. Instead, follow Rruga Myslym Shryi heading east as it turns into the pedestrian path through Rinia Park. Continue past the ruins of Justinian’s castle on your right, cross the street and pick up the pedestrian path once again. As it ends, you’ll see Cafe Medusa on your right - the back portion of that cafe is the biergarten. You’ll see the brewing equipment inside if you enter or peak through the glass. It’s a proper beer garden, good service, nice setting, medicore beers. Just a light and a dak on when I visited.

A bit of a cobbled-together affair, signs for Svejk Beer Garden mingle with ’Medusa Cafe’ and restaurant ’1st of May’. The chairs are labelled as one, the menu and tableware are all different. Good service, food OK and the brewing equipment is on show just inside. But the beer is almost an afterthought, Dark (E ZEZE) unavailable but the waiter did get me an unfiltered version of the KRUDO (blonde).

I thought before my trip that BrauHaus is the only brewpub in Albania. Well, Tirana centre has another one. This is located next to George W Bush street and is a big beer garden with eg. Chinese restaurant attached. They had two own beers. Service was excellent, food was so and so. Beers, blonde is ok brewpub lager, dunkel tasted like a bit out of date. After dinner brewmaster wanted to show their Canadian brewing equipment with eg. 6 fermentators. Looked quite big capacity.
