Visited during RBESG ’13. Small wharf cellar on the canal, looks and feels almost medieval. I like that. Some outside space on the canal side as well, good for on a warm night. When we were there they had a broad range of Berghoeve beers and their own stuff of course, among them 2 premieres at the time (Ot the Explorer and 24/7). Selection is what is on hand at the time, so varies every week I guess. Nice atmosphere. Visit is recommended if you happen to be around one the Freaky Fridays. Minus points for the very limited opening hours.

If you happen to be in Utrecht on the right Friday evening, this is a cool little tasting event that features mostly Rooie Dop or Rooie Dop collaborations. Located in one of the old wharf warehouses on the northern stretch of the Oudegracht. Great evening with good beers.

Visited during RBESG 2013. Nice location downstairs from the street and next to the river. We had a wonderful evening with a good selection of Rooie Dop-beers to choose from, Great atmosphere and a Place I would like to visit again.

We visited Rooie Dop during the Ratebeer European Summer Gathering in 2013. They laid on a splendid welcome reception on the first night, and what an excellent start it was to a great weekend with good company and good beers. I liked all the Rooie Dop beers I tried and the dungeon is very atmospheric. It’s in a cellar warehouse right next to the canal with the pavement above. If you get a chance to visit, take it! Small wharf cellar, where Rooie Dop creates their test-brews. Rooie Dop + changing local brews available, depending on what’s available or brought by other brewers. Homebrew can be sampled and people can bring own homebrew or bottles if they want. Friendly atmosphere and you get a chance to talk to the brewers. I might be a bit privileged :P
