Again a haddonsman introduction to this place. Large red bricked building situated close to the old Shipstones brewery and offering a great view of the place. There was a Christmas beer festival on during our visit and we also ate here. Can recommend both the beer and the food.

Large brick-built U-shaped pub with patio overlooking the old Shipstones brewery. Several regular Batemans beers alongside a half dozen guests from micros. Some continental bottles. Occasional beer festivals.

Great value food makes this an ideal lunch stop on a beer-by-tram crawl. Real fires, wireless internet, breweriania... it’s not just the beer that’s impressive. Seconds away from the Shipstone Street tram stop. Great atmosphere and well kept beers.
