| TimE (99), Tokyo, Japan | | September 25, 2008 Don’t really get the attraction of this place. Big, boxy, modern with beers from Saku and Le Coq. Prices now are marginally cheaper than Beer House (35 EEK for Le Coq Porter). Can’t really recommend this place. Would be funner to get some beers from the Rimi supermarket and drink at your hotel. | | FatPhil (107), Espoo, Finland | | November 27, 2007 Very close to Raekoja - continue south from the Olde Hansa corner down the shortest route to Parnu Mnt, right next to Vana Tom. Excellent cheap pub-grub venue (grab the hock for 92EEK), and with Saku Tume on draft the rest of the beers may be a little uninsiring. Piped classic rock, and live music on Saturday nights of uncertain quality. | | Gazza (120), Worcester, England | | September 17, 2006 Just off Raekoja platz in the direction of Viru this cellar bar is dimly lit and atmospheric. Serves Saku Tumé on draught and has a fair selection of bottles from Saku and A.le Coq in the glaring fridges. The food is cheap and very impressive. A handy pub if you’ve not had the full range from the two major brewers or want a decent meal - much cheaper than the Beer House! |
